Below are some of the issues we have recently consulted on and their outcomes.

We asked

This survey was carried out to establish how officers of the council could communicate more effectively with the elected members.

You said

Whilst generally satisfied with how members acess and receive information the need for a Members Portal wasn't seen as a particular requirement. 

We did

The findings of this survey were presented to the Council's Senior Leadership Team. 

As a result of the responses it was agreed that,

  1. We will take the members portal offline.
  2. We will continue to send members service updates/briefing notes etc.. by email, as the survey shows this is the preferred method
  3. We will continue to send the members newsletter every 2 weeks as the survey shows this is well received by members.
