Business Survey – Addressing the Climate and Ecological Emergency

Closes 5 Nov 2021

Opened 27 Sep 2021

Overview

In May 2019, South Somerset District Council (SSDC) declared a Climate and Ecological emergency. We have created this survey to try and better understand where our business community is with addressing the climate emergency.

We are conducting a survey to gain information that will help us identify where we can offer advice and support going forward.

We are interested in hearing from all businesses whatever stage they are at; understanding the barriers and challenges that businesses face is important, as well as hearing from those businesses already taking practical measures to tackle the climate emergency.

Following analysis of the survey results, we would like to highlight examples of environmental good practice within our business community (alongside an SSDC press release). If you would like to be considered for this and are happy for us to get in touch, please provide your contact details as part of this survey.

Businesses of all sizes across Somerset and around the UK are committing to do their bit to cut carbon emissions and protect the planet. We have provided some useful links at the end of this survey to help you improve your business's carbon footprint.
